No Tricks, Just Looking for Treats as Ice Dogs Travel To Thunder Bay Halloween Night!
Saturday, October 31st, 2009The Dryden Ice Dogs will be dressed up in their best Game Faces for Halloween, as they travel to Thunder Bay tonight to face the Fort William Northstars. Currently the Northstars sit in First place after defeating the Sioux Lookout Flyers last night, 7-2 on home ice. The last meeting between the two teams was back at the beginning of October as they split the two game series in Dryden, with a 4-3 result both games. Northstars getting the first win, and Dryden skating back to their win the second night.
BJ McClellan, Kevin Burton, Mike Lennon and Jon Mitchell are all representing Dryden on the top 10 league scoring leaders, while Ice Dogs Goaltender Peter Emery still sits on top of the goalie leaders with a 1.71 GAA, and .945 SV%. With a win, Dryden will once again tie Fort William for top spot and have a chance to take the lead tomorrow as they face the K&A Wolverines in Schrieber, Ontario. Gametime tonight is 7:30PM (EST), CKDR will have the call starting at 6:15PM (CST).
