As the ball is about to drop on 2009, the Dryden Ice Dogs are back on ice today, preparing for their first game of 2010 on Saturday as they travel to Sioux Lookout to face the Sioux Lookout Flyers.  CKDR will have the call starting at 7:15PM (CST), click here to listen live! With 4 goals in the first period, K&A outshot the Flyers 38 – 27

Fort William Northstars 1 vs. Fort Frances Lakers 2
Only the second loss for the Northstars this season as Fort Frances Netminder, Jameson Shortreed stopped
47 of 48 shots, as the Lakers were out shot 48 – 19
