The Dryden Ice Dogs are gearing up, and preparing for their “1st Annual Centennial Hookin’ 50 Grand Ice Dogs Tagged Fish Derby “.    The date for the derby is Saturday August 14, 2010, boats will launch from Skenes Landing on Wabigoon Lake at 9:00AM.  Details and registration for the derby are linked below.  There are only 200 Spots Available and a maximum of 4 Persons per boat, so get your registration in today, and have your chance at HOOKIN 50 GRAND!

With only a few days left before TEE OF TIME for the Martin Anderson Memorial Golf Tournament, organizers are urging participants who are interested, to register by Friday afternoon.  As of today, there are over 40 participants registered for this years tournament.  The tournament is being held at Anderson’s Homestead Golf Course, and will take place Saturday July 24, 2010.  Team meeting at 12:00PM with a Shotgun start at 12:30PM.

As a reminder, the fees are as follows:

18 Holes of Golf and Steak Dinner – $100.00**
Steak Dinner – $25.00

** Current and Former Players pay $50.00

Again, participants have up to Friday afternoon to register.  Last minute additions will not be refused.

The Dryden Ice Dogs organization would like to invite all former, and current players of the Dryden Ice Dogs to take part in the City of Dryden Centennial Parade on Saturday July 31, 2010.  If you are able to attend please contact team president Ted Lake at 807-216-6715.

With the 10th Season just around the corner, the Dryden Ice Dogs have firmed up the dates and times of this years training camp.  The training camp will be held at the Dryden Memorial Arena.  The dates and times are as follows:

August 26^th 8:30-10:30pm

August 27^th 7-11pm

August 28^th 10-12 and 2-4pm

August 29^th 10-12 and 2-4pm

It is with Great Pleasure that the Dryden Ice Dogs welcome the Duluth Clydesdales & the Spooner Wilderness to the S.I.J.H.L for the 2010-2011 Season.

The Minnesota and Wisconsin based teams recently gained permission after an appeal to join the S.I.J.H.L next season.  With the addition of the Clydesdales and Wilderness, the league will consist of 6 teams to battle it out for the Bill Salonen Cup Championship next season.
