The 2009-2010 Dryden Ice Dogs have a good number of players that come to us from south of the boarder; Texas, California, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Michigan. One in particular took part in a very memorable event back in 2002, #16 Henry Vadnais comes to us from Salt Lake City, Utah. At the age of 11, Henry was part of the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. During the closing ceremonies, if you remember, they had children skate out holding Laterns, well Vadnais was one of them. “Didn’t get to see much of the games, as we were rehearsing every day ” Vadnais said, when asked about the Olympics in Salt Lake City. Still was an experience he added, saying it was one he will never forget.
