Ice Dogs Drop Game 1

The Dryden Ice Dogs have to adjust their sights tonight, after losing game one to the Fort William Northstars.  Now their sights will have to be set on preventing the Northstars to get a 7 point lead on them in the standings.

It would take long for the Northstars to get an early 1 goal lead on the Ice Dogs, as they scored at 1:35 of the first on the powerplay.  The first period would end with the Northstars up by one.  Ben McClellan would even things up for the Ice Dogs as he would light the lamp at 3:54 of the second period, unassisted.  The Northstars would also add a goal in the second to get that one goal lead again.  The Ice Dogs would find themselves down by 1 going into the third period.

The Dryden Ice Dog scoring touch as of late, would be nonexistent in the third, as the Northstars would add 2 more, making the final 4-1.  Josh Baker would stop 28 of 32 shots in net for the Dryden Ice Dogs.  Next Action is set to start tonight, Saturday December 12, 2009..as the two teams will meet again at Fort William Gardens in Thunder Bay, Ontario.  Gametime is 7:30PM (EST).
