Members of Ice Dogs, Honoured in Back to Back Weeks
The Dryden Ice Dogs would like to congratulate both Mike Lennon and Josh Baker for recieving the S.I.J.H.L’s Player Of The Week Honours for Back To Back Weeks.
With 12 Goals, 46 Assists totalling 58 pts, in 53 Games, Mike Lennon has emerged as a key forward on the Dryden Ice Dogs squad this season. Amongst those stats are 3 Game Winning Goals, including last weekends game winner against the Fort William Northstars. In his last eligible year with the Ice Dogs, Lennon wants nothing more than to finish it off as a CHAMPION. Lennon recieved “Player Of The Week” Honours for the week of March 1, 2010.
As no stranger to the League, Joshua Baker came to the Ice Dogs just before Jan. 10, 2010 deadline day. While with the Ice Dogs, Baker has racked up 14 Win, 5 Losses, 3 Shutouts and a League Leading .924 Save Percentage. Like Lennon, this is Baker’s last year of eligibility in Junior A Hockey, and would want nothing more than to add a second Championship to his resume. Baker currently holds the honour of the leagues ” Player Of The Week “ Way To Go Guys!
