Over $7,500 raised for the Canadian Cancer Society

It was a GREAT evening at the Dryden Memorial Arena, as the Dryden Ice Dogs on ice victory was only the bonus of the evening.  After the first period, the tarps and chairs were brought out onto the ice, and 6 very brave people walked out onto the ice, and sat in front of 6 people holding clippers.  Jared Olson, Dale Engstrom, Denise Szachury and Paul Howarth, members of the Dryden Police Service along with Jordan Railian from the Riverview Lodge, and Jon Mitchell from the Dryden Ice Dogs were preparing to shave their heads in support of the Canadian Cancer Society.

After raising over $7500 for the Canadian Cancer Society, there were 6 very bald, very cold people taking in the applause, as it was a VERY SUCCESSFUL fundraiser.  The Dryden Ice Dogs would like to thank EVERYONE who were involved and who donated to this great organization.  Please see below, the CLIP from the event.
