A former member of the Dryden GM Ice Dogs has signed on to play University Hockey.
Ryan Scott has inked a deal with the Trinity Western Men’s hockey team in Langley, B.C.
The 20-year-old says the school is a great fit for his aspiration to continue playing hockey at an elite level while pursuing his education in business.
Scott adds the Spartans have a great program and he’s excited to be part of a winning team.
Coach Barret Kropf says the Spartans are excited to have Scott in the line-up, noting he will give them some depth in scoring.
Kropf calls Scott a quality player and is hoping he becomes a catalyst for their offence.
Scott played in 45-games with the Dogs last season and registered 14-points.
