Evan Walls Signs with the Dryden GM Ice Dogs

DRYDEN, ON: The Dryden GM Ice Dogs organization has been busy in the off-season pulling together what they hope to be another championship team.

The team has signed forward Evan Walls (March 7th, 1999) from North Vancouver, BC. Walls played the 2016/17 season with the Kamloops Storm of the KIJHL where he was named Rookie of the Year. He also played as an affiliate player with the Vernon Vipers of the BCHL.

Wayne Labrie, Dryden GM Ice Dogs Director of Scouting and Hockey Operations says of Walls that, “He will be a solid addition to this year’s forward group with his ability to push the pace and a strong level of compete.”

Walls is looking forward to wearing the Dryden GM Ice Dogs jersey this season, “I’m happy to announce I’ve signed with the Dryden GM Ice Dogs for the upcoming season. Having listened to Coach Kurt Walsten’s plan and excitement about the upcoming season has be thrilled to have the opportunity to play for the Dudley Hewitt Cup and possibly have my team come back with me to Chilliwack, in my home province of BC, to show everyone what it means to be a Dryden GM Ice Dog. I am looking forward to starting training camp and meeting my teammates and embracing my new home away from home in Dryden come September.”
