Welcome to the 2017/18 season of Dryden GM Ice Dogs hockey, a season unlike any before it.
For the first time in 9 years, your team is the defending SIJHL Champion, and for the first time ever we are the host city for the Central Canadian Junior A Hockey Championships; The Dudley Hewitt Cup.
From April 28th, 2018 to May 5th, 2018 Dudley week in Dryden will be a celebration of our town, our team and each of us. I’ve always wanted the Ice Dogs to be a source of pride for the City of Dryden, and today I am very proud of this team. We will approach this year with a sense of growing momentum that will culminate both in the community and on the ice during Dryden’s Dudley week.
Myself, and my team of incredible volunteers are honoured to take on the challenges we face in this coming season. It will be a year of hard work no doubt, but the payoff will be something we, and you as fans and supporters of the franchise will remember forever.
Bill is home, and home he will stay. But it can’t be done without you. Whether as a fan, a volunteer, or a sponsor, this task is made possible every year by the overwhelming force of community that Dryden, and our every growing Ice Dog family has developed over the years.
