DRYDEN, ON: The Dryden GM Ice Dogs and Dryden Minor Hockey Association (DMHA) are pleased to announce the renewal of the exciting partnership that was established between their two organizations in the 2017/18 season. The renewal of the agreement will once again allow the Dryden GM Ice Dogs to collaborate with Dryden Minor Hockey in the delivery of their 50/50 draw at all Ice Dogs’ regular season games.
The Dryden Minor Hockey Association was the natural fit for this union. DMHA will profit from the sales of the 50/50 draw during the regular season. The positive tradeoff for this partnership is that DMHA will receive season passes for every registered player to attend all regular season Dryden GM Ice Dogs’ games for free, as well free game passes for participants in all DMHA tournament hosted in Dryden where there is an Ice Dogs home game during said tournament weekend.
This partnership will be of benefit to both organizations.
“DMHA is the “roots of hockey” in Dryden. For many local players, the journey that ends with the Dryden GM Ice Dogs begins years prior as an IP or a Novice player with DMHA. In that relationship, the success of DMHA is integral to the success of the Dryden GM Ice Dogs therefore any opportunity we have to partner with them is an opportunity we take. This is a win/win partnership that I am very excited about renewing for the coming season. Thanks to Shannon and her executive for working together to make it a reality” Mike Sveinson, President Dryden GM Ice Dogs.
“DMHA is excited to enter into this partnership to support an organization that provides local role models for our athletes. The Dryden GM Ice Dogs have donated countless hours over the past several years helping our players both on and off the ice. With this partnership, we can give back to the team and at the same time enhance our players’ experience this season. We look forward to another successful year, and wish the Ice Dogs another great season” Shannon Hutchison, President Dryden Minor Hockey Association.
