Stout scores 4 times in Dryden win over Minnesota

HOYT LAKES, Minn. – Eric Stout scored four times to help lead the Dryden GM Ice Dogs to a 9-0 win over the Minnesota Iron Rangers in a Superior International Junior Hockey League contest Friday at Hoyt Lakes Arena.

Stout scored twice in the first period, including the game-winner, sandwiched around a Trey Palermo effort.

Dryden blew it open with a five-goal second stanza on tallies from Palermo, Tyler Browning, Jacob Siebenga, Stout and Dylan Winsor.

Stout then capped off his big night offensively with a shorthanded marker early in the third to finish off the offensive onslaught by the GM Ice Dogs.

Trygve Many Guns dished out four assists for the visitors.

Jordan Wilde picked up the shutout for Dryden.

Nick Corneliusen and Nikolaos Manetas both saw time in net for the Iron Rangers in the loss.
