Dryden defeats Red Lake in disconcerting, penalty-marred contest

DRYDEN, Ont. – The Dryden GM Ice Dogs defeated the Red Lake Miners 6-3 Wednesday in a disconcerting game marred by penalties and game misconducts by both sides in a Superior International Junior Hockey League match-up Wednesday at Memorial Arena.

Scoring for Dryden were Malcolm Huemmert with three along with singles by Jacob Siebenga, Cameron Coutre and Rayman Bassi.

Stratton Pickett with a pair and Matt Krawiec tallied for Red Lake.

Jacob Anthony was the winning goaltender and Vince Benedetto suffered the loss.
