Three Regional Players have been tapped to play Junior “A” for YOUR Hometown Dryden GM Ice Dogs this fall.
Sioux North Warriors alumni Kendall Schulz, Ben Forbes and Cortez Favot have signed following two dominant seasons in NorWOSSA.
Asked to expand on considering the new acquisitions to be local, team president Mike Sveinson commented, “Absolutely local. My family is actually originally from Sioux Lookout. I’m very happy to be able to sign these three Sioux boys to the team. Furthermore, most everyone from Dryden has connections with people from Sioux Lookout and vice versa. If you have any doubts about the local aspect of these players I’d suggest checking out our first home game in September.”
