Anthony stops 37 as Dryden blanks Fort Frances

DRYDEN, Ont. – Jacob Anthony handled all 34 shots he faced to backstop the Dryden GM Ice Dogs to a 3-0 victory over the Fort Frances Lakers Saturday night in Superior International Junior Hockey League exhibition action at Memorial Arena.

Following a scoreless first frame, Dryden opened the scoring midway through the second stanza.

The GM Ice Dogs added some insurance midway through the third period as Dylan Winsor scored shorthanded.

Jaxon Krupa then rounded out the proceedings with a late tally with help from Parker James and Gavyn Galloway.

Fort Frances goaltender Alex Bugeja faced 39 attempts in defeat for the Lakers.
