THUNDER BAY, Ont. — The Superior International Junior Hockey League has announced that tonight’s regular season contest between the Dryden GM Ice Dogs and Red Lake Miners at Cochenour Arena has been postponed due to a severe wind storm and wide-spread power outage that has affected the region.
Hydro crews are unsure when power in the area will be restored, thus the game has been called off.
A make-up date for this contest will be announced once it is finalized.
